I am a Clinical Psychologist, specialising in children, young people and their families. I am a member of the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC).
My qualifications are:
I believe that the first step in any therapeutic journey is developing a trusting relationship with your therapist. I work with my clients in a compassionate and collaborative manner to achieve meaningful changes.
I have experience delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy for people with a range of difficulties across the lifespan. Some of the difficulties I have treated include; depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, eating disorders, emotional regulation problems, stress management and dissociative and psychotic experiences. I have special interests in high functioning anxiety and early childhood trauma.
I have worked across several NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in central London, utilising a range of different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). This training and experience allows me to work integratively, drawing on different therapy models and approaches to build an approach that is carefully tailored to individual client needs.
My previous role was as a senior psychologist in the NHS, I now solely work in private practice.
