I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC).
My qualifications are:
I have completed post qualification training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT), Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
I work with adults and young people. I have experience of delivering a broad range of psychological interventions. I predominately offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques to help tailor the intervention to the individual.
I have worked in independent practice since 2018. Prior to working in private practice, I was a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and worked in Child and Adolescent Services (CAMHS) and an Adult Autism Assessment Service. I have worked clinically within NHS Child, Adult, Learning Disability and Older Adult psychology services since 2006. I started my career in 2004 working with young people in residential homes and supporting care leavers as they moved into independent living.
In addition to working as a clinical psychologist, I am also a registered Yoga Teacher (with Yoga Alliance). I believe my practice of yoga complements my psychology work and, when clinically appropriate, I am able to offer a psychological intervention integrating a mind body approach.
