I am a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
My qualifications are:
I have experience working in the NHS and private psychological services with adults, young people, and families with a range of emotional difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem and self-confidence, emotional regulation difficulties, stress, relationship difficulties and trauma.
I believe in working with individuals in a non-judgmental and collaborative way, in order to create a shared understanding of the difficulties, and support you to achieve your goals and make meaningful changes. I work in an integrative manner, incorporating skills from a number of different therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
My training includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych), Advanced Clinical Skills In Compassion Focused Therapy and, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
