I am a registered member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and an accredited CBT therapist.
My qualifications are:
I work collaboratively with people; together we explore how the way we think and what we do may be impacting our feelings and we consider where and how we can bring about positive change. I usually work in a short term way, aiming to support individuals to become their own therapists.
I have over 10 years of experience supporting adult’s mental health within the NHS. I am experienced at using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to support presentations such as panic, excessive worry, health anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and low mood.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I also work at a University supporting new NHS mental health practitioners to use evidence-based approaches.
